When paired with the much-loved tube top, the low-rise hip-huggers left little to the imagination and as a result, belly buttons were catapulted into view during the noughties when music videos became a mecca for midriffs. It was undeniably a toxic time for young women, particularly so when it came to body image, considering the only models and actors we were exposed to were ultra-thin, and anyone with a different body type was made to feel undesirable. In many ways, late ’90s and early 2000s fashion was the stuff of nightmares, particularly if you weren’t skinny – the super low rise hip-huggers were not accomodating for most body types. Spaghetti straps are not made for those of us that consider bras mandatory. If I see another one this season, I may scream. It was an era marked by many impractical trends, and some of my personal favourite recent revivals include miniature bags that can’t fit your house keys (cc: Jacquemus ) and those exceptionally unflattering, tiny sunglasses that no one looks good in – they should be firmly reserved for Keanu Reeves in The Matrix.ĭon’t get me started on slip dresses, either. Even Lancome’s iconic Juicy Tube lip gloss has made a resurgence this year. Y2K looks continue to rear their scrunchie-laden heads into the fashion mainstream – from strappy sandals, to double denim, chokers, butterfly clips, fanny packs and baguette bags, our love for this era’s fashion just won’t die. Late ’90s and early 2000s fashion trends are like that one, random hair that keeps growing back, no matter how many times you pluck it.

12/28/2022 0 Comments Map of sydney light rail routeThe western Sydney director for the Sydney Business Chamber David Borger said the light rail was good news for workers. #Map of sydney light rail route full#“We need to see a more concrete commitment from the Government to deliver this missing piece to ensure this route reaches its full potential.” Light rail linked to job growth in the west “What the NSW Government has put forward goes halfway to achieving this, with the indication that an extension from Carlingford to Macquarie Park could be the next stage,” she said. Ms Osmond said the light rail line to Carlingford was an important first step towards connecting Parramatta to jobs hubs at Macquarie Park, but she called for the Government to go further. “Finally we are starting to see that concept being broken down and a new focus on building up Western Sydney as a genuine, independent economy by improving intra-connectivity. “For over 100 years, public transport has been designed to get people from the outer suburbs to the Sydney CBD for work,” said Ms Osmond. The new route was widely welcomed by transport groups, including the Tourism and Transport Forum. “We are bringing the light rail revolution that is going across this great state, here to Parramatta, here to western Sydney,” Mr Baird said. Premier Mike Baird said the announcement marked “a fantastic day for the people of western Sydney, for the people of Parramatta.” “We’re going to see a major build happen very quickly.” “We did assess four particular routes and it’s very pleasing, given the advocacy that we’ve seen for both the Carlingford Line and the Sydney Olympic Park Strathfield line, that we’re able to implicate both of the groups that have been advocating in this regard. Mr Constance said community groups in both areas had advocated for light rail. The NSW Government had been considering four shortlisted routes for the light rail for more than a year. “We have the benefit of linking it to the hospital, through the CBD, to Parramatta and of course to other major development precincts along the route.” “Light rail can move 10,000 passengers per hour. “From Westmead Hospital to the Sydney Olympic Stadium, this is a win for everybody. “It’s very pleasing to announce a network and not a route,” he said. Transport Minister Andrew Constance said the two new light rail lines would open up more of western Sydney. Photo The Government decided lines to Homebush and Carlingford were the best of four options. A light rail line from Westmead to Homebush via Parramatta as well as another light rail line to Carlingford has been announced by the New South Wales Government. 12/28/2022 0 Comments Construction simulator 2015 pc cheats
Are developers actually still using pie menus in their games? I haven['t seen that for awhile because I don't ordinarily play games that look like they're 20 years old. Are developers actually still using pie menus in their games? I haven['t Rarely have I seen an Xbox game with clunkier control functions. Rarely have I seen an Xbox game with clunkier control functions. Despite the camera nuisance I still enjoyed my time with the game immensely though and without a doubt this game gets a solid recommendation from me because you really do get great value for your money. Technically the game holds up really well throughout your time with the game and the only real nuisance present in the game was the camera, which I hope gets sorted in the end. The gameplay also has a realistic side to it thanks to the many licensed vehicles that are present in the game and whilst the presentation side of the game isn’t going to blow you away there’s plenty of extra detail in these vehicles. Once you get used to the clunky controls then you realise quite quickly that there’s a lot of variety in the jobs you can do and each job has a rewarding feeling. All in all Construction Simulator 2 US was a game that interested me right from the get go because these types of game’s offer you a huge amount of replay value and thankfully I’m pleased to say that this is a game I can see myself playing for a very long time. Unfortunately there are no multiplayer offerings which I was a little disappointed with. I found the controls to be a little clunky at times and they do take quite a bit of time to get used to. The camera can be a real nuisance at times and it never seems to go where you want it to go. Technically the game holds up really well and I didn’t suffer with many problems at all. I liked how there were a number of licensed vehicles available to use because it did give the game more of a realistic feel to it. The presentation side of the game is not out of this world I found both the visuals and sound design to have been done really well. The jobs you can do in the game have a decent amount of variety to them and this definitely keeps things fresh and interesting for longer. #Construction simulator 2015 pc cheats series
12/28/2022 0 Comments Two stage ejector mouldBoth jacketed and non-jacketed bullets can be swaged easily with Corbin tools. They also protect the bore from fouling or melting of the core material from friction and heat. Jackets protect the core material from excess friction, deformation from gas pressure in the barrel, and control performance on impact. They take on the shape, diameter, and even the finish of the die surface. They are expanded and formed with internal pressure against the ductile core material, until they are stopped by the diamond-lapped die walls. Jackets are always slightly smaller than finished bullet diameter, and are expanded by the high internal pressure applied in "seating" the core. The "jacket" can be purchased from Corbin, or made at home from copper tubing or from flat copper strip, with Corbin jacket-making tools. For more than 50 years, Corbin has been the world's foremost manufacturer of bullet swaging equipment, supplies, and information.īullets can be made of one material such as solid lead, copper or a powdered metal mixture, or they may be "jacketed", meaning the core material is covered by a "skin" normally made of relatively thin copper or brass alloy. Pellets, shotgun slugs, pistol and rifle bullets, round balls for muzzle loaders - nearly any kind of bullet - can be swaged in one or more steps, depending on the design. The process can be used to make lead or jacketed bullets, even lead-free bullets from ductile mixes or powders, in virtually any caliber and shape. This causes expansion in diameter to the exact shape and size of the die cavity and punch ends, transferring the precision finish of the die and punch to the bullet. The pressure is applied through hardened, high strength punches which compress the material inside the diamond-lapped die. Pressure in the 10,000 to 50,000 psi range is applied with a powerful high precision press. You can draw down, but you always swage up. When you SWAGE a bullet, you expand it to a slightly larger size in a pressure-sealed die. When you DRAW a bullet or jacket, you push it through an open ring die that reduces the size. A swag is curtain fabric draped in a loop, items stolen by a thief, or party gifts, not a process. Swage is pronounced like "wage" or "stage". Materials to be swaged move like putty under 10,000 to 50,000 psi pressure to take on the size, finish, and shape of the die cavity. To "Swage" is to form projectiles - bullets, not loaded cartridges - using high pressure at room temperature to flow materials in the cavity of a diamond-lapped, high precision die. Bullet Swaging: (Pronounced "Sway-jing", like "Gaging" or "Paging"). 12/28/2022 0 Comments Mac checkbook pro

12/28/2022 0 Comments Free iwork for macTheir cheaper competitors are selling you much less, and you will end up spending more money in the long run. It’s part of the reason why Apple products are “so expensive”. iWork is free because Apple device sales subsidize its costs. Anyone with an iCloud account can use Pages, Numbers, Keynote and more for free. I use iWork because it’s free and good enough. Ugh! Sometimes tech companies are so smart that they’re actually stupid. The workaround is to copy it to a plain text editor and then copy it to your word processor. The copied text should fit the style of the inserted document in the vast majority of cases, and should therefore be the default. I really don’t care for any of the technology, from most tech companies, that keeps the original style of copied text. Is this a feature or a bug? Do people really want text automatically pasted in some strange box? I can’t stand this “beature” (mysterious hybrid of a feature and a bug). The workaround is to type a few characters in the document and then paste the text. This usually happens with a brand new document. For example, if I copy and paste text into a Pages document, it will often paste the text in a box. Apple’s word processor has an annoying tendency to do things automatically - things that I don’t want done. I don’t need to transfer the file explicitly. Later, I may proofread and publish it on my Mac. For example, I am writing this article on my iPad right now. I use Pages to write documents, which I can access anywhere. My favorite feature of iWork is that it works over the cloud. iWork also allows similar customization and interactivity with AppleScript. I used these features early in my career to create mailing labels from a database. Microsoft Office allows developers to embed code into documents, making traditionally static pages more dynamic. Keynote’s lack of interruption from notifications actually drove many users from Microsoft Office to iWork.ĭespite the notion that Apple products are simplistic, both office suites offer advanced features. Users seem to like Pages’ layout features better than Word’s. #Free iwork for mac software#Although the two software suites differ slightly, some prefer one over the other. Table of Contents:Īpple’s iWork office suite is analogous to Microsoft Office. The instructions in this article will also work on Linux, Chrome OS and just about any modern computer. #Free iwork for mac how to#This article shows you how to use iWork on macOS and Windows for free. It functions much like Microsoft Office or LibreOffice. #Free iwork for mac for mac#Most recently, an update rolled out which made it easier for users to work with documents on the iPhone even after they were created on the Mac.Īnd since Pages doesn’t require any subscription or additional payment in order to be used, you can re-install Pages for Mac with ease.IWork is Apple’s suite of office applications. Apple continues to bring new features to its iWork suite of apps. There are some good reasons as to why you would want to re-install Pages for Mac. However, word processors aren’t exactly as popular as they once were, meaning that Pages for Mac could be one of the first applications that you uninstall to free up some space. Pages can handle much of your word-processing needs, including the opening and editing of files that were originally created using the Microsoft Word. The easiest and simplest way to describe what Pages is, is to simply state that it’s Apple’s equivalent to Microsoft Word. As we mentioned before Pages is just one part of Apple’s iWork suite of applications. static-files is a list of paths that list static files that aren’t affected by server code.(Remember that we learned about thread safety here.) The appengine-web.xml Fileīefore we can deploy our web app on Google App Engine, we need to add one more file to our project. You want to add the bin directory inside the SDK folder to your PATH variable. (If you don’t remember the PATH variable from the Java tutorials, read about it here.) Next, you need to add the directory that you just unzipped to your PATH variable. Unzip it wherever you want (I’m just going to put it on my desktop for now). Open the Google Cloud Shell using by clicking the >_ icon in the upper-right corner. Now that we’ve created a project, we need to create an app in that project. You’ll end up on your web app project page, which will be empty to start with. Give it any name you want, and select a region. Go to your App Engine Dashboard and create a web app project. Like its name suggests, Google Cloud Platform is a set of tools and services that allow you to deploy your web app in the Google cloud… the same computers that run Google! Create a Projectīefore we can deploy our web app, we need to follow these instructions and create a Cloud Platform and App Engine project. (And it’s a good idea to do that before trying to deploy to a live site!) But we’re going to deploy this to Google App Engine instead. This is just a simple example, but it contains a servlet, a JSP file, and a static file, so it should be a reasonable stand-in for more complicated stuff.Īt this point you could copy this directory into the webapps folder of your local Jetty server. Hopefully by now that all seems pretty straightforward to you. Putting it all together, our web app directory should look like this: SimpleServlet SimpleServlet SimpleServlet /home Let’s create an example web app using the command line. You might want to check whether the host you’re already using offers server-side hosting, but usually they’re two separate things. Download google app engine sdk for java code#Simple file hosting will work for static files, but you need server-side hosting if you want to actually run code on a server. Note that this is more involved than the basic file hosting we talked about in the HTML tutorials. You can google something like “turn my computer into a server” if you want to do that, but this tutorial uses Google App Engine to host our server in the Google cloud. It’s possible to use your computer as a “real” server that other people can access. But if you want other people to be able to visit your web app, you have to host your server somewhere. Running locally is a good habit to get into, because you want to test your changes before you unveil them to the entire world. So far, we’ve been developing locally by turning our own computers into a server that we access using the localhost:8080 URL.
